1 וַיֹּ֖אמֶר אֵלָ֑י בֶּן־אָדָם֙ עֲמֹ֣ד עַל־רַגְלֶ֔יךָ וַאֲדַבֵּ֖ר אֹתָֽךְ׃ Elle me dit: "Fils de l’homme, dresse-toi sur tes pieds, que je te parle!"

2 וַתָּ֧בֹא בִ֣י ר֗וּחַ כַּֽאֲשֶׁר֙ דִּבֶּ֣ר אֵלַ֔י וַתַּעֲמִדֵ֖נִי עַל־רַגְלָ֑י וָאֶשְׁמַ֕ע אֵ֖ת מִדַּבֵּ֥ר אֵלָֽי׃ {פ}
Et un esprit vint en moi lorsqu’elle m’eut parlé et me dressa debout sur mes pieds, et j’entendis celui qui s’entretenait avec moi.

3 וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֵלַ֗י בֶּן־אָדָם֙ שׁוֹלֵ֨חַ אֲנִ֤י אֽוֹתְךָ֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶל־גּוֹיִ֥ם הַמּוֹרְדִ֖ים אֲשֶׁ֣ר מָרְדוּ־בִ֑י הֵ֤מָּה וַֽאֲבוֹתָם֙ פָּ֣שְׁעוּ בִ֔י עַד־עֶ֖צֶם הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃ Il me dit: "Fils de l’homme, je t’envoie vers les enfants d’Israël, vers les peuples rebelles qui se sont révoltés contre moi; eux et leurs ancêtres ont péché contre moi jusqu’au jour où nous sommes.

4 וְהַבָּנִ֗ים קְשֵׁ֤י פָנִים֙ וְחִזְקֵי־לֵ֔ב אֲנִ֛י שׁוֹלֵ֥חַ אוֹתְךָ֖ אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִֽה׃ Et les enfants à la face dure et au cœur opiniâtre, je t’envoie vers eux et tu leur diras: "Ainsi a dit le Seigneur Dieu."

5 וְהֵ֙מָּה֙ אִם־יִשְׁמְע֣וּ וְאִם־יֶחְדָּ֔לוּ כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵ֑מָּה וְיָ֣דְע֔וּ כִּ֥י נָבִ֖יא הָיָ֥ה בְתוֹכָֽם׃ {פ}
Quant à eux, qu’ils écoutent ou qu’ils s’y refusent, car ils sont une maison de rébellion, ils sauront qu’il y avait un prophète parmi eux.

6 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָ֠דָ֠ם אַל־תִּירָ֨א מֵהֶ֜ם וּמִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תִּירָ֗א כִּ֣י סָרָבִ֤ים וְסַלּוֹנִים֙ אוֹתָ֔ךְ וְאֶל־עַקְרַבִּ֖ים אַתָּ֣ה יוֹשֵׁ֑ב מִדִּבְרֵיהֶ֤ם אַל־תִּירָא֙ וּמִפְּנֵיהֶ֣ם אַל־תֵּחָ֔ת כִּ֛י בֵּ֥ית מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃ Et toi, fils de l’homme, n’aie pas peur d’eux, et de leurs paroles n’aie pas peur, si des ronces et des épines sont avec toi et si tu demeures avec des scorpions; de leurs paroles n’aie pas peur et devant eux ne tremble pas, car c’est une maison de rébellion.

7 וְדִבַּרְתָּ֤ אֶת־דְּבָרַי֙ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אִֽם־יִשְׁמְע֖וּ וְאִם־יֶחְדָּ֑לוּ כִּ֥י מְרִ֖י הֵֽמָּה׃ {פ}
Et tu leur diras mes paroles, qu’ils écoutent ou qu’ils s’y refusent, car c’est une maison de rébellion.

8 וְאַתָּ֣ה בֶן־אָדָ֗ם שְׁמַע֙ אֵ֤ת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִי֙ מְדַבֵּ֣ר אֵלֶ֔יךָ אַל־תְּהִי־מֶ֖רִי כְּבֵ֣ית הַמֶּ֑רִי פְּצֵ֣ה פִ֔יךָ וֶאֱכֹ֕ל אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֖י נֹתֵ֥ן אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Et toi, fils de l’homme, écoute ce que je vais te dire: "Ne sois pas rebelle comme la maison de rébellion; ouvre la bouche et mange ce que je vais te donner."

9 וָאֶרְאֶ֕ה וְהִנֵּה־יָ֖ד שְׁלוּחָ֣ה אֵלָ֑י וְהִנֵּה־ב֖וֹ מְגִלַּת־סֵֽפֶר׃ Je regardai, et voici qu’une main se tendait vers moi et dans cette main il y avait un rouleau de livre.

10 וַיִּפְרֹ֤שׂ אוֹתָהּ֙ לְפָנַ֔י וְהִ֥יא כְתוּבָ֖ה פָּנִ֣ים וְאָח֑וֹר וְכָת֣וּב אֵלֶ֔יהָ קִנִ֥ים וָהֶ֖גֶה וָהִֽי׃ {ס} Il le déroula devant moi, et le rouleau était écrit au recto et au verso et contenait des lamentations, des plaintes et des gémissements."
