Isaïe 61:1

Bible du Rabbinat 1899 [fr]

61

1 ר֛וּחַ אֲדֹנָ֥י יֱהֹוִ֖ה עָלָ֑י יַ֡עַן מָשַׁח֩ יְהֹוָ֨ה אֹתִ֜י לְבַשֵּׂ֣ר עֲנָוִ֗ים שְׁלָחַ֙נִי֙ לַחֲבֹ֣שׁ לְנִשְׁבְּרֵי־לֵ֔ב לִקְרֹ֤א לִשְׁבוּיִם֙ דְּר֔וֹר וְלַאֲסוּרִ֖ים פְּקַח־קֽוֹחַ׃ L’esprit du Seigneur, de l’Éternel, repose sur moi, puisque l’Éternel m’a conféré la mission de porter un heureux message aux humbles; il m’a délégué pour guérir les cœurs brisés, pour annoncer la liberté aux captifs et la délivrance à ceux qui sont dans les chaînes;
2 לִקְרֹ֤א שְׁנַת־רָצוֹן֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה וְי֥וֹם נָקָ֖ם לֵאלֹהֵ֑ינוּ לְנַחֵ֖ם כׇּל־אֲבֵלִֽים׃ pour proclamer une année de grâce de la part de l’Éternel, un jour de revanche de la part de notre Dieu, pour consoler tous les affligés;
3 לָשׂ֣וּם ׀ לַאֲבֵלֵ֣י צִיּ֗וֹן לָתֵת֩ לָהֶ֨ם פְּאֵ֜ר תַּ֣חַת אֵ֗פֶר שֶׁ֤מֶן שָׂשׂוֹן֙ תַּ֣חַת אֵ֔בֶל מַעֲטֵ֣ה תְהִלָּ֔ה תַּ֖חַת ר֣וּחַ כֵּהָ֑ה וְקֹרָ֤א לָהֶם֙ אֵילֵ֣י הַצֶּ֔דֶק מַטַּ֥ע יְהֹוָ֖ה לְהִתְפָּאֵֽר׃ pour présenter aux affligés de Sion et leur remettre une parure remplaçant les cendres, une huile d’allégresse remplaçant le deuil, un vêtement de triomphe remplaçant l’abattement de l’esprit: alors on les appellera térébinthes du salut, plantation de l’Éternel, dont il se fait gloire.
9 וְנוֹדַ֤ע בַּגּוֹיִם֙ זַרְעָ֔ם וְצֶאֱצָאֵיהֶ֖ם בְּת֣וֹךְ הָעַמִּ֑ים כׇּל־רֹֽאֵיהֶם֙ יַכִּיר֔וּם כִּ֛י הֵ֥ם זֶ֖רַע בֵּרַ֥ךְ יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}

Ibn Ezra

English

Upon me. The first person refers to the prophet. The spirit. The prophecy. Comp. And took of the spirit, that was upon him (Num. 11:25).

Because the Lord hath anointed me. The prophets are called anointed; comp. Touch not mine anointed (Ps. 105:15). R. Moses Hakkohen says that the protasis beginning Because the Lord is continued till ver. 9, and the apodosis commences I will greatly rejoice (ver. 10); but it is not at all necessary to make this explanation; because יען means the reason of, and the whole phrase can be rendered thus: The reason why God has anointed me is, that I shall bring good tidings, etc.

The opening of the prison. It is one word, with the reduplication of the second and third radical; it is similar in form to סחרחר panteth (Ps. 38:11), אדמדם red (Lev. 13:49), ירקרק green (Lev. ibid).
