4 וְנָסַ֣ב לָכֶם֩ הַגְּב֨וּל מִנֶּ֜גֶב לְמַעֲלֵ֤ה עַקְרַבִּים֙ וְעָ֣בַר צִ֔נָה (והיה) [וְהָיוּ֙] תּֽוֹצְאֹתָ֔יו מִנֶּ֖גֶב לְקָדֵ֣שׁ בַּרְנֵ֑עַ וְיָצָ֥א חֲצַר־אַדָּ֖ר וְעָבַ֥ר עַצְמֹֽנָה׃ Puis la limite s’infléchira, par le midi, vers la montée d’Akrabbîm, atteindra Cîn et aboutira au midi de Kadêch-Barnéa; sortira vers Haçar-Addar, ira jusqu’à Açmôn;
7 וְזֶֽה־יִהְיֶ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם גְּב֣וּל צָפ֑וֹן מִן־הַיָּם֙ הַגָּדֹ֔ל תְּתָא֥וּ לָכֶ֖ם הֹ֥ר הָהָֽר׃ Voici quelles seront vos bornes au nord: vous tracerez une ligne de la grande mer à Hor-la-Montagne;
8 מֵהֹ֣ר הָהָ֔ר תְּתָא֖וּ לְבֹ֣א חֲמָ֑ת וְהָי֛וּ תּוֹצְאֹ֥ת הַגְּבֻ֖ל צְדָֽדָה׃ de Hor-la-Montagne vous la continuerez jusqu’à Hémath, d’où la démarcation aboutira à Cedad;
10 וְהִתְאַוִּיתֶ֥ם לָכֶ֖ם לִגְב֣וּל קֵ֑דְמָה מֵחֲצַ֥ר עֵינָ֖ן שְׁפָֽמָה׃ Pour vos bornes à l’orient, vous tirerez une ligne de Haçar-Hênân à Chefâm;
15 שְׁנֵ֥י הַמַּטּ֖וֹת וַחֲצִ֣י הַמַּטֶּ֑ה לָקְח֣וּ נַחֲלָתָ֗ם מֵעֵ֛בֶר לְיַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵח֖וֹ קֵ֥דְמָה מִזְרָֽחָה׃ {פ}

Rashi

English

The northern border. The northern border.

From the Great (Mediterranean) Sea, turn yourselves to Hor Hahar. Which is at the northwestern corner. Its peak slopes and enters the sea, with some of the expanse of the sea inward, and some outward.

Turn. Tilt yourselves to turn from west to north, to Mount Hor.

Turn. The term denotes turning, as in “to the runners’ annex,” “the annexes of the gateway.” The annex, called “apendiz” in Old French, turns and slopes.
