1 שִׁ֗יר הַֽמַּ֫עֲל֥וֹת הַבֹּטְחִ֥ים בַּיהֹוָ֑ה כְּֽהַר־צִיּ֥וֹן לֹא־יִ֝מּ֗וֹט לְעוֹלָ֥ם יֵשֵֽׁב׃ Cantique des degrés. Ceux qui ont confiance en l’Éternel seront comme la montagne de Sion, qui ne chancelle pas, inébranlable à jamais.

2 יְֽרוּשָׁלַ֗͏ִם הָרִים֮ סָבִ֢יב לָ֥֫הּ וַ֭יהֹוָה סָבִ֣יב לְעַמּ֑וֹ מֵ֝עַתָּ֗ה וְעַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Jérusalem a des montagnes pour ceinture; ainsi l’Éternel entoure son peuple, maintenant et pour toujours.

3 כִּ֤י לֹ֪א יָנ֡וּחַ שֵׁ֤בֶט הָרֶ֗שַׁע עַל֮ גּוֹרַ֢ל הַֽצַּדִּ֫יקִ֥ים לְמַ֡עַן לֹא־יִשְׁלְח֖וּ הַצַּדִּיקִ֨ים בְּעַוְלָ֬תָה יְדֵיהֶֽם׃ Car le sceptre de l’impiété ne se posera pas sur le patrimoine des justes, pour que les justes n’appliquent pas leurs mains au mal.

4 הֵיטִ֣יבָה יְ֭הֹוָה לַטּוֹבִ֑ים וְ֝לִישָׁרִ֗ים בְּלִבּוֹתָֽם׃ Seigneur, fais du bien aux bons, à ceux qui ont le cœur droit.

5 וְהַמַּטִּ֤ים עֲֽקַלְקַלּוֹתָ֗ם יוֹלִיכֵ֣ם יְ֭הֹוָה אֶת־פֹּעֲלֵ֣י הָאָ֑וֶן שָׁ֝ל֗וֹם עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ {פ}
Mais ceux qui se détournent vers des voies obliques, que l’Éternel les entraîne avec les artisans d’iniquité! Paix sur Israël!

כי. כמו שכתוב והנותר בירושלים קדוש יאמר לו, כי הרשעים כולם בין מישראל בין משאר הגוים וירושלים שהיא גורל הצדיקים לא ינוח בה שבט הרשע כלומר וחזוק וכח הרשע כמו שהוא היום הרשע לשבט ולמטה:

למען. כלומר שלא ילמדו הצדיקים ממעשיהם אם ישארו רשעים בארץ וכי צוה האל לישראל לגרש הגוים ולהמיתם ואמר למען לא ילמדו אתכם לעשות ולא עשו כן ובזה נכשלו, אבל לעתיד לבא לא יהיה שם מכשול עון כי כל הרשעים יכלו:
