1 מִזְמ֥וֹר לְדָוִ֑ד יְהֹוָ֥ה רֹ֝עִ֗י לֹ֣א אֶחְסָֽר׃ Psaume de David. L'Éternel est mon berger, je ne manquerai de rien.

2 בִּנְא֣וֹת דֶּ֭שֶׁא יַרְבִּיצֵ֑נִי עַל־מֵ֖י מְנֻח֣וֹת יְנַהֲלֵֽנִי׃ Dans de vertes prairies, il me fait camper, il me conduit au bord d'eaux paisibles.

3 נַפְשִׁ֥י יְשׁוֹבֵ֑ב יַֽנְחֵ֥נִי בְמַעְגְּלֵי־צֶ֝֗דֶק לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמֽוֹ׃ Il restaure mon âme, me dirige dans les sentiers de la justice, en faveur de son nom.

4 גַּ֤ם כִּֽי־אֵלֵ֨ךְ בְּגֵ֪יא צַלְמָ֡וֶת לֹא־אִ֘ירָ֤א רָ֗ע כִּי־אַתָּ֥ה עִמָּדִ֑י שִׁבְטְךָ֥ וּ֝מִשְׁעַנְתֶּ֗ךָ הֵ֣מָּה יְנַֽחֲמֻֽנִי׃ Dussé-je suivre la sombre vallée de la mort, je ne craindrais aucun mal, car tu serais avec moi; ton soutien et ton appui seraient ma consolation.

5 תַּעֲרֹ֬ךְ לְפָנַ֨י ׀ שֻׁלְחָ֗ן נֶ֥גֶד צֹרְרָ֑י דִּשַּׁ֥נְתָּ בַשֶּׁ֥מֶן רֹ֝אשִׁ֗י כּוֹסִ֥י רְוָיָֽה׃ Tu dresses la table devant moi, à la face de mes ennemis; tu parfumes d'huile ma tète, ma coupe est pleine à déborder.

6 אַ֤ךְ ׀ ט֤וֹב וָחֶ֣סֶד יִ֭רְדְּפוּנִי כׇּל־יְמֵ֣י חַיָּ֑י וְשַׁבְתִּ֥י בְּבֵית־יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה לְאֹ֣רֶךְ יָמִֽים׃ {פ}
Oui, le bonheur et la grâce m'accompagneront ma vie durant, et j'habiterai de longs jours dans la maison du Seigneur.

נפשי - הזכיר כי הרועה לא ידפקנו להוליכו ממרעה אל מרעה בניחוץ רק נפשו ישובב בשובה ונחת.

וטעם במעגלי צדק – שלא יוליכנו על גבעות ועל עמקים וכל זה לא למעני הוא עושה רק למען שמו, למען ספר שמו בכל הארץ, כי הוא רועה טוב ורחמן אין כמוהו.

נפשי ישובב יניח כמו הרועה הטוב שלא ייגע הצאן ולא ידחפן אלא ינהלן לאט כמו (ישעיהו מ יא): בזרעו יקבץ טלאים ובחיקו ישא עלות ינהל. וישובב מענין בשובה ונחת (שם ל טו).

ינחני במעגלי צדק כמו הרועה הטוב שלא ינהג צאנו בהרים ולא יעבירן מהר אל הר ולא יטרידן ללכת מהר אל גבעה אלא במישור כן הוא ינחני במעגלי צדק; וכל זה למען שמו: לא שאני ראוי לכך.
