1 לְדָוִ֨ד ׀ שׇׁפְטֵ֤נִי יְהֹוָ֗ה כִּֽי־אֲ֭נִי בְּתֻמִּ֣י הָלַ֑כְתִּי וּבַיהֹוָ֥ה בָּ֝טַ֗חְתִּי לֹ֣א אֶמְעָֽד׃ De David. Rends-moi justice, Seigneur, car j’ai marché, moi, dans mon intégrité, et en l’Éternel j’ai mis ma confiance sans broncher.

2 בְּחָנֵ֣נִי יְהֹוָ֣ה וְנַסֵּ֑נִי (צרופה) [צׇרְפָ֖ה] כִלְיוֹתַ֣י וְלִבִּֽי׃ Scrute-moi, Éternel, mets-moi à l’épreuve, sonde mes reins et mon cœur.

3 כִּֽי־חַ֭סְדְּךָ לְנֶ֣גֶד עֵינָ֑י וְ֝הִתְהַלַּ֗כְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּֽךָ׃ Car ta bonté est devant mes yeux, et je ne fais que marcher dans ta vérité.

4 לֹֽא־יָ֭שַׁבְתִּי עִם־מְתֵי־שָׁ֑וְא וְעִ֥ם נַ֝עֲלָמִ֗ים לֹ֣א אָבֽוֹא׃ Je ne prends point place avec des gens faux, je ne fraye point avec des hypocrites.

5 שָׂ֭נֵאתִי קְהַ֣ל מְרֵעִ֑ים וְעִם־רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים לֹ֣א אֵשֵֽׁב׃ Je hais le clan des malfaiteurs, et avec les méchants je ne siège point.

6 אֶרְחַ֣ץ בְּנִקָּי֣וֹן כַּפָּ֑י וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ֣ יְהֹוָֽה׃ Je me lave les mains en état de pureté: puissé-je faire le tour, ô Seigneur, de ton autel,

7 לַ֭שְׁמִעַ בְּק֣וֹל תּוֹדָ֑ה וּ֝לְסַפֵּ֗ר כׇּל־נִפְלְאוֹתֶֽיךָ׃ pour faire entendre des accents de reconnaissance, et proclamer toutes tes merveilles!

8 יְֽהֹוָ֗ה אָ֭הַבְתִּי מְע֣וֹן בֵּיתֶ֑ךָ וּ֝מְק֗וֹם מִשְׁכַּ֥ן כְּבוֹדֶֽךָ׃ Seigneur, j’aime le séjour de ta maison, et le lieu où réside ta gloire.

9 אַל־תֶּאֱסֹ֣ף עִם־חַטָּאִ֣ים נַפְשִׁ֑י וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁ֖י דָמִ֣ים חַיָּֽי׃ N’enveloppe pas mon âme dans la ruine des méchants, ni ma vie dans celle des gens sanguinaires,

10 אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶ֥ם זִמָּ֑ה וִ֝ימִינָ֗ם מָ֣לְאָה שֹּֽׁחַד׃ dont les mains sont chargées d’infamie, et la droite se remplit de dons corrupteurs;

11 וַ֭אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּ֥י אֵלֵ֗ךְ פְּדֵ֣נִי וְחׇנֵּֽנִי׃ alors que moi, je marche dans mon intégrité: délivre-moi et sois-moi propice!

12 רַ֭גְלִי עָמְדָ֣ה בְמִישׁ֑וֹר בְּ֝מַקְהֵלִ֗ים אֲבָרֵ֥ךְ יְהֹוָֽה׃ {פ}
Mon pied foule un chemin tout droit: dans les assemblées, je veux bénir le Seigneur.

שנאתי - הזכיר הליכה והתהלכתי ואחר כן שבת, לא ישבתי ואחר כן הביאה לא אבוא. והנכון בעיני: כי הטעם לא אבוא בסודם, והזכיר פעם אחרת ועם רשעים לא אשב, כי מתי שוא הם בדבור והרשעים במעשה.
