1 מִזְמ֖וֹר לְדָוִ֣ד לְהַזְכִּֽיר׃ Psaume de David. Pour la Commémoration.

2 יְֽהֹוָ֗ה אַל־בְּקֶצְפְּךָ֥ תוֹכִיחֵ֑נִי וּֽבַחֲמָתְךָ֥ תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃ Éternel, ne me réprimande pas dans ton irritation, ne me châtie pas dans ton courroux.

3 כִּֽי־חִ֭צֶּיךָ נִ֣חֲתוּ בִ֑י וַתִּנְחַ֖ת עָלַ֣י יָדֶֽךָ׃ Car tes flèches m’ont transpercé, et ta main s’est appesantie sur moi.

4 אֵין־מְתֹ֣ם בִּ֭בְשָׂרִי מִפְּנֵ֣י זַעְמֶ֑ךָ אֵין־שָׁל֥וֹם בַּ֝עֲצָמַ֗י מִפְּנֵ֥י חַטָּאתִֽי׃ Ta colère n’a laissé rien d’intact dans mon corps, mes péchés ont banni la paix de mes membres.

5 כִּ֣י עֲ֭וֺנֹתַי עָבְר֣וּ רֹאשִׁ֑י כְּמַשָּׂ֥א כָ֝בֵ֗ד יִכְבְּד֥וּ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Car mes fautes ont monté par-dessus ma tête; comme un gros poids, elles pèsent lourdement sur moi.

6 הִבְאִ֣ישׁוּ נָ֭מַקּוּ חַבּוּרֹתָ֑י מִ֝פְּנֵ֗י אִוַּלְתִּֽי׃ Mes plaies sont fétides, putréfiées, par suite de mon égarement.

7 נַעֲוֵ֣יתִי שַׁחֹ֣תִי עַד־מְאֹ֑ד כׇּל־הַ֝יּ֗וֹם קֹדֵ֥ר הִלָּֽכְתִּי׃ Je suis tordu, affaissé outre mesure; tout le temps, je marche voilé de tristesse,

8 כִּֽי־כְ֭סָלַי מָלְא֣וּ נִקְלֶ֑ה וְאֵ֥ין מְ֝תֹ֗ם בִּבְשָׂרִֽי׃ car mes entrailles sont toutes malades d’inflammation; nulle partie saine en mon corps.

9 נְפוּג֣וֹתִי וְנִדְכֵּ֣יתִי עַד־מְאֹ֑ד שָׁ֝אַ֗גְתִּי מִֽנַּהֲמַ֥ת לִבִּֽי׃ Je suis épuisé, abattu au dernier point, je pousse des cris dans la violente agitation de mon cœur.

10 אֲֽדֹנָ֗י נֶגְדְּךָ֥ כׇל־תַּאֲוָתִ֑י וְ֝אַנְחָתִ֗י מִמְּךָ֥ לֹֽא־נִסְתָּֽרָה׃ Seigneur, tout ce que je souhaite t’est connu; mes soupirs ne t’échappent point.

11 לִבִּ֣י סְ֭חַרְחַר עֲזָבַ֣נִי כֹחִ֑י וְֽאוֹר־עֵינַ֥י גַּם־הֵ֝֗ם אֵ֣ין אִתִּֽי׃ Mon cœur palpite violemment, ma vigueur m’a abandonné, même la lumière de mes yeux me fait défaut.

12 אֹֽהֲבַ֨י ׀ וְרֵעַ֗י מִנֶּ֣גֶד נִגְעִ֣י יַעֲמֹ֑דוּ וּ֝קְרוֹבַ֗י מֵרָחֹ֥ק עָמָֽדוּ׃ Mes amis, mes compagnons se tiennent à l’écart de mon mal, mes proches demeurent à distance.

13 וַיְנַקְשׁ֤וּ ׀ מְבַקְשֵׁ֬י נַפְשִׁ֗י וְדֹרְשֵׁ֣י רָ֭עָתִי דִּבְּר֣וּ הַוּ֑וֹת וּ֝מִרְמ֗וֹת כׇּל־הַיּ֥וֹם יֶהְגּֽוּ׃ Ceux qui en veulent à ma vie me dressent des embûches, ceux qui cherchent mon malheur disent des paroles meurtrières, méditent des perfidies toute la journée.

14 וַאֲנִ֣י כְ֭חֵרֵשׁ לֹ֣א אֶשְׁמָ֑ע וּ֝כְאִלֵּ֗ם לֹ֣א יִפְתַּח־פִּֽיו׃ Pourtant, moi, tel un sourd, je n’entends point, je suis comme un muet qui n’ouvre pas la bouche.

15 וָאֱהִ֗י כְּ֭אִישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־שֹׁמֵ֑עַ וְאֵ֥ין בְּ֝פִ֗יו תּוֹכָחֽוֹת׃ Oui, je me comporte comme un homme qui n’entend pas, et qui n’a pas de répliques sur les lèvres.

16 כִּֽי־לְךָ֣ יְהֹוָ֣ה הוֹחָ֑לְתִּי אַתָּ֥ה תַ֝עֲנֶ֗ה אֲדֹנָ֥י אֱלֹהָֽי׃ C’est que je tourne mon attente vers toi; et, toi, tu m’exauceras, Seigneur, mon Dieu.

17 כִּֽי־אָ֭מַרְתִּי פֶּן־יִשְׂמְחוּ־לִ֑י בְּמ֥וֹט רַ֝גְלִ֗י עָלַ֥י הִגְדִּֽילוּ׃ C’est que je me dis: "Ils pourraient se réjouir de moi, faire les fiers à mon endroit, en voyant chanceler mes pas!"

18 כִּֽי־אֲ֭נִי לְצֶ֣לַע נָכ֑וֹן וּמַכְאוֹבִ֖י נֶגְדִּ֣י תָמִֽיד׃ Ne suis-je point désigné à la ruine? Mon mal n’est-il pas toujours là, sous mes yeux?

19 כִּֽי־עֲוֺנִ֥י אַגִּ֑יד אֶ֝דְאַ֗ג מֵ֖חַטָּאתִֽי׃ Car il faut que je confesse mon iniquité; je suis alarmé de mon péché,

20 וְֽ֭אֹיְבַי חַיִּ֣ים עָצֵ֑מוּ וְרַבּ֖וּ שֹׂנְאַ֣י שָֽׁקֶר׃ alors que mes ennemis ont une grande puissance de vie; nombreux sont ceux qui me haïssent sans cause,

21 וּמְשַׁלְּמֵ֣י רָ֭עָה תַּ֣חַת טוֹבָ֑ה יִ֝שְׂטְנ֗וּנִי תַּ֣חַת (רדופי) [רׇֽדְפִי־]טֽוֹב׃ et qui, rendant le mal pour le bien, me molestent pour me récompenser de poursuivre le bien.

22 אַל־תַּעַזְבֵ֥נִי יְהֹוָ֑ה אֱ֝לֹהַ֗י אַל־תִּרְחַ֥ק מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Ne me délaisse pas, ô Éternel! Mon Dieu, ne te tiens pas éloigné de moi.

23 ח֥וּשָׁה לְעֶזְרָתִ֑י אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י תְּשׁוּעָתִֽי׃ {פ}
Hâte-toi de me secourir, Seigneur, qui es mon protecteur.
