Psaumes 59:7

Bible du Rabbinat 1899 [fr]

59

2 הַצִּילֵ֖נִי מֵאֹיְבַ֥י ׀ אֱלֹהָ֑י מִֽמִּתְקוֹמְמַ֥י תְּשַׂגְּבֵֽנִי׃ Délivre-moi de mes ennemis, ô mon Dieu, protège-moi contre mes adversaires;
Car voici, ils s’embusquent contre ma personne, des barbares s’attroupent contre moi, et il n’y a de ma part ni faute, ni méfait, ô Éternel!
Mais toi, ô Éternel, tu te ris d’eux; tu nargues tous ces peuples.
Mon Dieu, plein de grâce, vient au-devant de moi; Dieu me permet de toiser mes adversaires.
18 עֻ֭זִּי אֵלֶ֣יךָ אֲזַמֵּ֑רָה כִּֽי־אֱלֹהִ֥ים מִ֝שְׂגַּבִּ֗י אֱלֹהֵ֥י חַסְדִּֽי׃ {פ}

Rashi

English

They return in the evening, etc... Behold, they spew forth with their mouth The interpretation of these two verses connects one to the other. They return in the evening What they did by day does not suffice them; in the evening they repeat their evil: guarding me that I do not escape and leave the city Now what did they do by day? Behold, all day they spew forth with their mouth, to spy on me to Saul.

Radak (David Kimhi)
