1 תְּפִלָּ֗ה לְדָ֫וִ֥ד הַטֵּֽה־יְהֹוָ֣ה אׇזְנְךָ֣ עֲנֵ֑נִי כִּֽי־עָנִ֖י וְאֶבְי֣וֹן אָֽנִי׃ Prière de David. Incline l’oreille, ô Éternel, exauce-moi, car je suis pauvre et malheureux.

2 שׇׁ֥מְרָ֣ה נַפְשִׁי֮ כִּֽי־חָסִ֢יד אָ֥֫נִי הוֹשַׁ֣ע עַ֭בְדְּךָ אַתָּ֣ה אֱלֹהַ֑י הַבּוֹטֵ֥חַ אֵלֶֽיךָ׃ Protège mon âme, car je suis fidèle; prête secours, toi, mon Dieu, à ton serviteur, qui met sa confiance en toi.

3 חׇנֵּ֥נִי אֲדֹנָ֑י כִּ֥י אֵלֶ֥יךָ אֶ֝קְרָ֗א כׇּל־הַיּֽוֹם׃ Prends-moi en pitié, Seigneur, car vers toi je crie toute la journée.

4 שַׂ֭מֵּחַ נֶ֣פֶשׁ עַבְדֶּ֑ךָ כִּ֥י אֵלֶ֥יךָ אֲ֝דֹנָ֗י נַפְשִׁ֥י אֶשָּֽׂא׃ Réjouis l’âme de ton serviteur, car vers toi, Seigneur, j’élève ma pensée.

5 כִּֽי־אַתָּ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי ט֣וֹב וְסַלָּ֑ח וְרַב־חֶ֝֗סֶד לְכׇל־קֹֽרְאֶֽיךָ׃ C’est que toi, Seigneur, tu es bon et clément, plein d’amour pour tous ceux qui t’invoquent.

6 הַאֲזִ֣ינָה יְ֭הֹוָה תְּפִלָּתִ֑י וְ֝הַקְשִׁ֗יבָה בְּק֣וֹל תַּחֲנוּנוֹתָֽי׃ Écoute, Éternel, ma prière, sois attentif à mes accents suppliants.

7 בְּי֣וֹם צָ֭רָתִֽי אֶקְרָאֶ֗ךָּ כִּ֣י תַעֲנֵֽנִי׃ Au jour de ma détresse, je t’appelle, car c’est toi qui me réponds.

8 אֵין־כָּמ֖וֹךָ בָאֱלֹהִ֥ים ׀ אֲדֹנָ֗י וְאֵ֣ין כְּֽמַעֲשֶֽׂיךָ׃ Personne, parmi les divinités, n’est comme toi, Seigneur; rien n’égale tes œuvres.

9 כׇּל־גּוֹיִ֤ם ׀ אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֗יתָ יָב֤וֹאוּ ׀ וְיִשְׁתַּחֲו֣וּ לְפָנֶ֣יךָ אֲדֹנָ֑י וִ֖יכַבְּד֣וּ לִשְׁמֶֽךָ׃ Puissent tous les peuples que tu as créés venir se prosterner devant toi, Seigneur, et honorer ton nom!

10 כִּֽי־גָד֣וֹל אַ֭תָּה וְעֹשֵׂ֣ה נִפְלָא֑וֹת אַתָּ֖ה אֱלֹהִ֣ים לְבַדֶּֽךָ׃ Car tu es grand, et fécond en miracles; toi seul, tu es Dieu.

11 ה֘וֹרֵ֤נִי יְהֹוָ֨ה ׀ דַּרְכֶּ֗ךָ אֲהַלֵּ֥ךְ בַּאֲמִתֶּ֑ךָ יַחֵ֥ד לְ֝בָבִ֗י לְיִרְאָ֥ה שְׁמֶֽךָ׃ Instruis-moi dans tes voies, je veux marcher dans ta vérité; dispose mon cœur à révérer ton nom.

12 אוֹדְךָ֤ ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י אֱ֭לֹהַי בְּכׇל־לְבָבִ֑י וַאֲכַבְּדָ֖ה שִׁמְךָ֣ לְעוֹלָֽם׃ Je veux te louer, Seigneur mon Dieu, de tout cœur, honorer ton nom à tout jamais.

13 כִּֽי־חַ֭סְדְּךָ גָּד֣וֹל עָלָ֑י וְהִצַּ֥לְתָּ נַ֝פְשִׁ֗י מִשְּׁא֥וֹל תַּחְתִּיָּֽה׃ Car grande est ta bonté pour moi: tu as sauvé mon âme du gouffre profond.

14 אֱלֹהִ֤ים ׀ זֵ֘דִ֤ים קָמוּ־עָלַ֗י וַעֲדַ֣ת עָ֭רִיצִים בִּקְשׁ֣וּ נַפְשִׁ֑י וְלֹ֖א שָׂמ֣וּךָ לְנֶגְדָּֽם׃ O Dieu, des audacieux s’étaient levés contre moi, une bande de gens violents avaient attenté à ma vie: ils n’avaient nulle pensée pour toi.

15 וְאַתָּ֣ה אֲ֭דֹנָי אֵל־רַח֣וּם וְחַנּ֑וּן אֶ֥רֶךְ אַ֝פַּ֗יִם וְרַב־חֶ֥סֶד וֶאֱמֶֽת׃ Mais toi, Seigneur, tu es un Dieu clément et miséricordieux, tardif à la colère, plein de bienveillance et d’équité.

16 פְּנֵ֥ה אֵלַ֗י וְחׇ֫נֵּ֥נִי תְּנָֽה־עֻזְּךָ֥ לְעַבְדֶּ֑ךָ וְ֝הוֹשִׁ֗יעָה לְבֶן־אֲמָתֶֽךָ׃ Tourne-toi vers moi et sois-moi propice, accorde ton puissant secours à ton serviteur, et prête assistance au fils de ta servante.

17 עֲשֵֽׂה־עִמִּ֥י א֗וֹת לְט֫וֹבָ֥ה וְיִרְא֣וּ שֹׂנְאַ֣י וְיֵבֹ֑שׁוּ כִּֽי־אַתָּ֥ה יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה עֲזַרְתַּ֥נִי וְנִחַמְתָּֽנִי׃ {פ}
Fais éclater en ma faveur un signe de bonheur; que mes ennemis soient confondus, en voyant que c’est toi, Éternel, qui me prodigues secours et consolations.
