1 שִׁ֥יר מִזְמ֗וֹר לִבְנֵ֫י־קֹ֥רַח לַמְנַצֵּ֣חַ עַל־מָחֲלַ֣ת לְעַנּ֑וֹת מַ֝שְׂכִּ֗יל לְהֵימָ֥ן הָאֶזְרָחִֽי׃ Cantique. Psaume des fils de Koré. Au chef des chantres. Sur Mahalat Leannot. Maskîl de Hêmân l’Esrahite.

2 יְ֭הֹוָה אֱלֹהֵ֣י יְשׁוּעָתִ֑י יוֹם־צָעַ֖קְתִּי בַלַּ֣יְלָה נֶגְדֶּֽךָ׃ Éternel, Dieu de mon salut, jour et nuit je crie, et suis en ta présence.

3 תָּב֣וֹא לְ֭פָנֶיךָ תְּפִלָּתִ֑י הַטֵּ֥ה אׇ֝זְנְךָ֗ לְרִנָּתִֽי׃ Que ma prière monte jusqu’à toi! Incline l’oreille à ma plainte.

4 כִּֽי־שָׂבְעָ֣ה בְרָע֣וֹת נַפְשִׁ֑י וְ֝חַיַּ֗י לִשְׁא֥וֹל הִגִּֽיעוּ׃ Car mon âme est rassasiée de maux, et ma vie touche au bord du Cheol.

5 נֶ֭חְשַׁבְתִּי עִם־י֣וֹרְדֵי ב֑וֹר הָ֝יִ֗יתִי כְּגֶ֣בֶר אֵֽין־אֱיָֽל׃ Déjà je compte parmi ceux qui sont descendus dans la fosse; je suis tel qu’un homme qui a perdu toute force,

6 בַּמֵּתִ֗ים חׇ֫פְשִׁ֥י כְּמ֤וֹ חֲלָלִ֨ים ׀ שֹׁ֥כְבֵי קֶ֗בֶר אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹ֣א זְכַרְתָּ֣ם ע֑וֹד וְ֝הֵ֗מָּה מִיָּדְךָ֥ נִגְזָֽרוּ׃ qui, abandonné parmi les morts, ressemble aux cadavres couchés dans la tombe, dont tu ne gardes plus aucun souvenir, et qui sont retranchés de ta main.

7 שַׁ֭תַּנִי בְּב֣וֹר תַּחְתִּיּ֑וֹת בְּ֝מַחֲשַׁכִּ֗ים בִּמְצֹלֽוֹת׃ Tu m’as plongé dans un gouffre profond, en pleines ténèbres, dans les abîmes.

8 עָ֭לַי סָמְכָ֣ה חֲמָתֶ֑ךָ וְכׇל־מִ֝שְׁבָּרֶ֗יךָ עִנִּ֥יתָ סֶּֽלָה׃ Sur moi tu fais peser ta colère, s’écrouler toutes tes vagues. Sélah!

9 הִרְחַ֥קְתָּ מְיֻדָּעַ֗י מִ֫מֶּ֥נִּי שַׁתַּ֣נִי תוֹעֵב֣וֹת לָ֑מוֹ כָּ֝לֻ֗א וְלֹ֣א אֵצֵֽא׃ Tu as éloigné de moi mes intimes; tu me présentes à eux comme un objet d’horreur: je suis séquestré et ne puis m’évader.

10 עֵינִ֥י דָאֲבָ֗ה מִנִּ֫י־עֹ֥נִי קְרָאתִ֣יךָ יְהֹוָ֣ה בְּכׇל־י֑וֹם שִׁטַּ֖חְתִּי אֵלֶ֣יךָ כַפָּֽי׃ Mes yeux se consument de misère; chaque jour je t’invoque, Seigneur, je tends les mains vers toi.

11 הֲלַמֵּתִ֥ים תַּעֲשֶׂה־פֶּ֑לֶא אִם־רְ֝פָאִ֗ים יָק֤וּמוּ ׀ יוֹד֬וּךָ סֶּֽלָה׃ Est-ce pour les morts que tu fais des miracles? Les ombres se lèveront-elles pour te louer? Sélah!

12 הַיְסֻפַּ֣ר בַּקֶּ֣בֶר חַסְדֶּ֑ךָ אֱ֝מ֥וּנָתְךָ֗ בָּאֲבַדּֽוֹן׃ Célèbre-t-on ta bonté dans la tombe, ta fidélité dans le séjour de la perdition?

13 הֲיִוָּדַ֣ע בַּחֹ֣שֶׁךְ פִּלְאֶ֑ךָ וְ֝צִדְקָתְךָ֗ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ נְשִׁיָּֽה׃ A-t-on connaissance, dans les ténèbres, de tes merveilles, de ta justice dans le pays de l’oubli?

14 וַאֲנִ֤י ׀ אֵלֶ֣יךָ יְהֹוָ֣ה שִׁוַּ֑עְתִּי וּ֝בַבֹּ֗קֶר תְּֽפִלָּתִ֥י תְקַדְּמֶֽךָּ׃ Mais moi, c’est vers toi, ô Éternel, que je crie; dès le matin, ma prière va au-devant de toi.

15 לָמָ֣ה יְ֭הֹוָה תִּזְנַ֣ח נַפְשִׁ֑י תַּסְתִּ֖יר פָּנֶ֣יךָ מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ Pourquoi, Seigneur, délaisses-tu mon âme, me dérobes-tu ta face?

16 עָ֘נִ֤י אֲנִ֣י וְגֹוֵ֣עַ מִנֹּ֑עַר נָשָׂ֖אתִי אֵמֶ֣יךָ אָפֽוּנָה׃ Je suis pauvre et sans souffle dès l’enfance; je porte le poids de tes terreurs, je suis plein de trouble.

17 עָ֭לַי עָבְר֣וּ חֲרוֹנֶ֑יךָ בִּ֝עוּתֶ֗יךָ צִמְּתוּתֻֽנִי׃ Sur moi tes colères ont passé, tes épouvantes m’ont anéanti.

18 סַבּ֣וּנִי כַ֭מַּיִם כׇּל־הַיּ֑וֹם הִקִּ֖יפוּ עָלַ֣י יָֽחַד׃ Elles m’enveloppent sans relâche comme les flots; ensemble, elles me cernent de toutes parts.

19 הִרְחַ֣קְתָּ מִ֭מֶּנִּי אֹהֵ֣ב וָרֵ֑עַ מְֽיֻדָּעַ֥י מַחְשָֽׁךְ׃ {פ}
Tu as éloigné de moi amis et compagnons; mes intimes sont invisibles comme les ténèbres.

כמו חללים שוכבי קבר. כי הנני עתה בגלות כמו חללים שישכבו בקבר ולא זכרתם עוד להקימם מעפרם:

והמה מידך נגזרו. והמה החללים נגזרו מידך שגזרת עליהם תמותה כן גזרת עלי הגלות בלי תקומה: ומלת זכרתם. כמו תזכרם עבר במקום עתיד ולא יבטל זה תחיית המתים העתידה להיות כי הוא מדבר על טבע העולם כי המת לא יחיה לעולם בטבע וכן מה שאמר בזה המזמור הלמתים תעשה פלא אם רפאים יקומו סלה לא דבר אלא על הטבע:
