Psaumes 112:10

Bible du Rabbinat 1899 [fr]

112

10 רָ֘שָׁ֤ע יִרְאֶ֨ה ׀ וְכָעָ֗ס שִׁנָּ֣יו יַחֲרֹ֣ק וְנָמָ֑ס תַּאֲוַ֖ת רְשָׁעִ֣ים תֹּאבֵֽד׃ {פ}
Le méchant en est témoin et s’irrite, il grince des dents et se ronge [de dépit]. Le désir des méchants est frappé d’impuissance.

Commentaires sur Psaumes 112:10

Rashi

English

A wicked man will see and become angry Heb. וכעס, an expression of a verb in the past tense, equivalent to ויכעס [i.e., the “vav” converts the past tense to the future]. Therefore, it is vowelized half with a “kamatz” and half with a “pattah,” and the accent is at the end of the word.
