Genèse 50:10

Bible du Rabbinat 1899 [fr]

50

On y employa quarante jours; car on emploie autant de jours pour ceux qu’on embaume. Les Égyptiens portèrent son deuil soixante-dix jours.
15 וַיִּרְא֤וּ אֲחֵֽי־יוֹסֵף֙ כִּי־מֵ֣ת אֲבִיהֶ֔ם וַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּ ל֥וּ יִשְׂטְמֵ֖נוּ יוֹסֵ֑ף וְהָשֵׁ֤ב יָשִׁיב֙ לָ֔נוּ אֵ֚ת כׇּל־הָ֣רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר גָּמַ֖לְנוּ אֹתֽוֹ׃ Or, les frères de Joseph, considérant que leur père était mort, se dirent: "Si Joseph nous prenait en haine!

Rashi

English

Threshing floor of bramble. It was surrounded, and our Rabbis interpret this to mean that all the kings and princes of Ishmael came to Cana'an for war, and when they saw Jacob's crown on Jacob's coffin they stood and hung their crowns surrounding the coffin like a threshing floor surrounded by thorns.
