Rashi
English
Which I dug. Literally, as in Exodus 21:33, "If a man digs", and as the Midrash says it is like "I bought". Rabbi Akiva said that when he went to seaside cities, it meant "to sell". Another Midrash says it is derived from the word "a stack", Jacob burdened himself with all the silver and gold that he brought from Lavan's house and made a stack, and he said to Esau "take this for your share of the cave".
