English · The Rashi chumash by Rabbi Shraga Silverstein
Everyone who touches a dead body of the soul of a man that shall die [(This excludes "the soul of a beast," one who touches its carcass not requiring sprinkling)], and he not be cleansed, the tabernacle of the L-rd has he defiled [if he enters the tabernacle without the sprinkling of the third and seventh days], and that soul shall be cut off from Israel; for the waters of sprinkling have not been sprinkled upon him. Unclean shall he be; his cleanliness is yet upon him [even if he underwent ritual immersion].

Whosoever toucheth the dead, even the body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself—he hath defiled the tabernacle of the LORD—that soul shall be cut off from Israel; because the water of sprinkling was not dashed against him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

Ktokolwiekby się dotknął zmarłego, zwłok człowieka, który umarł, a nie oczyściwszy się przybytek Wiekuistego skalał - wytrąconą będzie dusza ta z pośród Israela; póki wodą oczyszczającą pokropiony nie został, nieczystym jest, - jeszcze nieczystość jego na nim;

Rashi
English
A corpse of a [human] soul. Which corpse? That of a human soul. This excludes that of an animal, whose ritual uncleanliness does not require sprinkling Another interpretation: “Of a [human] soul” refers to a quarter of blood.
Defiles the Mishkan of Adonoy. If he enters the Mishkan courtyard, even after ritual immersion, without having been sprinkled on the third and seventh [days]. His impurity remains. Even if he immersed ritually.

Whoever hath touched the body of a dead man, or of a child nine months old, either the body or the blood, and will not sprinkle himself, he hath defiled the tabernacle of the Lord, and that man shall be cut off from Israel; forasmuch as the water of sprinkling is not sprinkled upon him, he is unclean, his uncleanness is yet on him, until he shall sprinkle himself; yet may he sprinkle and make ablution on the seventh evening.
