Parachat Tzav
Aliya 1
Tout mâle parmi les enfants d’Aaron pourra le manger: revenu perpétuel attribué à vos générations sur les combustions de l’Éternel. Tout ce qui y touchera deviendra saint."
Aliya 2
De même, toute oblation d’un pontife sera brûlée entièrement, on n’en mangera point."
Mais tout expiatoire dont le sang serait introduit dans la Tente d’assignation pour faire expiation dans le sanctuaire, on n’en mangera point; il sera consumé par le feu.

On a griddle, with oil, shall it be made; soaked [scalded with hot (oil) to saturation] shall you bring it, baked many times [(After scalding it he bakes it in an oven and then he fries it on a griddle)]. A meal-offering of pieces shall you offer it, a sweet savor to the L-rd.

Ibn Ezra
English
baked This word has no cognate. Some people say it means “soft”, while others say it means “immediately”. The tav in you must bring it and in you must offer is the sign of the second person masculine singular future; and in my opinion, so is the tav of well-baked [Hebrew: tufiney], meaning “you will prepare”. This word has no cognate. Our ancestors have said [Menaḥot 50b] that it is a compound of two words that mean “you will bake it half-baked” [Hebrew: tofeh na ’] [the Talmud uses the form tofehna na’ — Translator]. The grammarian Rabbi Yona ibn Janaḥ said that the word was similar in form to the word dukhifat [11:19], but this is a convoluted etymology.

Rashbam
English
מרבכת, softened with oil according to the requirements of the individual sacrifice. Seeing this had to be baked in an oven, it needed to be softened with oil.
תפיני, an expression denoting baking of some kind. The letter א is somehow absent in this word. This missing letter א is not unusual, for instance it occurs in Isaiah 13.20 לא יהל ערבי instead of לא יאהל ערבי, “no Arab shall pitch his tent.” In Exodus 10,21 וימש חשך we would have expected ויאמש חשך, [from the word אמש, last night, i.e. darkness which normally lasts only a single night will last much longer. See author’s comment on that verse. Ed.]
