Targum Jonathan

Thou shalt not be oppressive (hard) upon thy neighbour, nor take away by force, nor let the hire of the hireling be remaining all night at thy side until the morning.

Ibn Ezra
English
Do not exploit your neighbor covertly
and do not rob overtly, by force of arms
hire i.e., wages, as in “his hire is before him” [Isaiah 40:10]. Most likely the word’s origin is elliptical, from “(the reward of someone’s) hire”. Many people apply this verse to the case of a day laborer. One must not say, “Come and do the same work tomorrow morning , and in the morning I shall give you two days’ wages.” The Exegetes have demonstrated [Bava M e ṣi‘a 110b] that this verse discusses a day laborer, because elsewhere Scripture says, “before the sun sets” [Deuteronomy 24:15] concerning a night laborer.

Rashbam
English
לא תעשוק, withholding wages and suppressing just claims by converts.
לא תגזול, similar to Samuel II 23,21 ויגזול את החנית מידו, “he wrenched the spear out of his hand.”
לא תלין, withholding wages from night workers.

Da'at Zekenim
English
לא תלין פעולת שכיר, “do not withhold the wages of a day labourer overnight.” Torat Kohanim on this line asks the rhetorical question: “how do I know that the same rule applies to beasts which have laboured for you? The word שכיר followed by פעולת, “labour of,” shows that it applies not only to human beings who have laboured for you, but as well to animals and the soil that has worked for you.? When this verse is discussed in the Talmud, there is no reference to the soil.
