Ibn Ezra
English
This verse is spelled “with no jointed legs” but is traditionally read as that have jointed legs . The principal meaning is the latter.
to jump This word has no cognate. Onkelos translated it into the Aramaic lekappaṣa (as in “leaps” [Hebrew: mekappeṣ] [Song of Songs 2:8]), meaning “skips”; and he translated correctly.

Rashbam
English
לנתר, to jump, to shake, as per Onkelos. The root occurs in this sense in Chabakuk 3,6 ויתר גוים, “He makes the earth shake.” This transitive mode of the root נתר, natar, also occurs in Genesis 2,21 from the root נפל, nafal.
