Seeing that Yitzchok had first been suspicious that son standing in front of him was an impostor, the Torah emphasised that not only did he not curse the person bringing him the food, but blessed him instead. This is in line with what we have been taught in Berachot 31 that if someone suspects a second person unjustly of being guilty of something he must pacify that person. This is not enough but he must also bestow a blessing upon him. Such was the case when the High Priest Eli had first suspected Channah of being in the Temple while intoxicated. When he found out that he had been wrong, he blessed her. (Samuel 1,13 and subsequently 1,17).
