Aliya 6

Targum Jonathan
English
A people who will come from beyond the land of Israel shall consume them with the stroke of the sword, and those who are left in the land of Israel will I throw into the terror of death, in the chambers here and there where they sleep; their young men shall perish, their maidens, their sucklings, with their men and their elders.

Ibn Ezra
English
The phrase both the youth is the delayed object of the sword shall bereave.
I have already explained the usage of the Hebrew word both [comment on Exodus 4: 10]. The intent is to include everyone: “young men and maidens, the elderly with the young” [Psalms 148: 12].
